How we’ll work together
Let’s meet & talk about your project
The process starts with a free consultation to go over your project, talk about options, and address any challenges. I’ll return with a timely offer and a 3D drawing (if required) to help visualize the design.
I approach each project creatively, but with a “project manager’s” focus on time and budget. You get reliable, conscientious service and a commitment to get the job done in a collaborative way.
I’ll do the plans & carpentry
Plans can be adapted as needed: you decide whether you only want me to do the actual carpentry work, or if you also want me to “hand-hold” the project from start to finish—including recommending and overseeing my network of plumbers, electricians, etc.
When you hire Copenhagen Carpentry, my “one customer at a time” model means I don’t leave work half-done, and I can stay focused on your project.
You get my expat expertise
Being an expat myself, I have expertise in catering to the needs of new-to-Denmark clients who are just learning to navigate building terms and options.
Now with over 10 years of experience of working in greater Copenhagen, I can give qualified advice to recent arrivals as well as native Danes. So I’m flexible enough to adjust to many types of clients, and that results in a positive building experience for all.
Tony has a magic ability to come with creative and effective solutions for any carpentry needs. Interior solutions were finished in good time and with strong attention to detail and quality. His positive can-do attitude helps you cut through procrastination and get it done!
Last summer Tony worked on a huge task in my allotment garden: replacement of outdoor cladding, new door frame, brand new kitchen, conversion of shed to toilet and installation of outdoor shower enclosure. He worked patiently to find solutions that are both super creative and really good quality. Tony is good at combining new materials with recycling – I really appreciate that. I can highly recommend Tony for both carpentry and joinery tasks.
Tony has done a great deal of work in my clinic. All crafted to perfection including some brilliant IKEA hacks!

The Copenhagen
Carpentry Story
Owned and operated by New York City native Tony Del Campo, Copenhagen Carpentry has been in business since 2013.
When I first arrived in Copenhagen, I had a hard time finding anyone to do carpentry in my own home. I already had building and design skills, so I ended up doing the jobs myself, thereby learning how to navigate local building sources and methods.
This led to getting jobs from friends, and I soon started Copenhagen Carpentry to help others with their own building projects. The business has grown through word-of-mouth referrals due to the quality, honesty, and conscientiousness I bring to each client’s project.
I am fluent in Danish and have many native clients, but I keep communication in English to support expat clients, and to differentiate myself from the crowd. Added to this is the expertise I’ve gained operating as a carpenter in the Copenhagen area for over 10 years.
There’s no place like your home, so hire me to do a one-off carpentry or handyman task, or let me be your one-stop shop for the whole life-cycle of your project!
Great, trustworthy work at a fair price.
That’s my promise!
